1. "On-Point" Dog Obedience Training $40.00/hr

- In this six session series, your dog learns or re-learns basic obedience
commands in your home and on-the-walk. Your dog will learn to SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME WHEN CALLED, WALK LOOSE ON A LEASH AND LEAVE-IT [Time allowing, we can also customize this series to address certain specific behavioral issues]
3. The "Head-Start" Obedience Training In this series, you can get a head-start on your dog or puppy's obedience training and learn how to maintain it. [We can also address specific behavioral problems during these sessions]
- Six 1-hour dog training sessions and three owner-training
sessions (9 sessions): $375.00
- Six 1-hour dog training sessions and four owner-training
sessions (10 sessions): $415.00
1st Step: In six one-hour sessions, we teach your dog or puppy basic obedience commands including SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME WHEN CALLED, WALK LOOSE ON A LEASH AND LEAVE-IT. These sessions are conducted at the locations where you will want your dog to respond to you.
2nd Step: In three or four one-hour on-site sessions, we teach you how to continue, refine and maintain your dog's newly learned skills. You will also receive written hand-outs on all of the lessons.

III. DOG BEHAVIORAL TRAINING AND REHABILITATION

"On-Site" Dog Behavior and Rehabilitation Training This training is for any dog that has specific behavioral problems (e.g. jumping on guests, charging the door, pulling on the leash, digging holes, dog reactivity, barking etc.). We can customize these sessions to rehabilitate any breed of rescue dogs. $40.00/hr $115.00 ($5 discount): 3 one-hour sessions $230.00 ($10 discount): 6 one-hour sessions [This series also includes a refresher course on basic obedience commands.]

- In these sessions, you will learn training techniques that will help to stop
or manage your dog's specific undesirable behavior and, if needed, how to rehabilitate your dog. The number of training sessions that you need will depend on the type and scope of the problem which we can discuss during a free consultation.

1. Pet Therapy 101 Training and Canine Good Citizen Test In this series, we prepare your dog to pass the AKC CGC Test and/or become a Pet Therapy Dog that can visit retirement homes and hospitals. Six personalized 1-hour on-site sessions: $230.00 ($10 discount)
This class is open to all dogs beginning at 8 months although to test for Pet Therapy Certification dogs must be one year old. Training for the CGC test provides useful obedience training, and will help you and your dog establish a closer bond.
- You receive an overview of Pet Therapy
- We will refine your dog's basic obedience skills and teach it how to be a good
companion and/or therapy dog. We will teach your dog to POLITELY ACCEPT A STRANGER, SIT & STAY (20-ft), WALK ON A LOOSE LEASH IN A CROWD, COME (10 ft), LEAVE-IT, POLITELY MEET OTHER DOGS and REACT TO DISTRACTIONS (e.g. medical equipment, loud noises, etc.).
- Time allowing, you will also have the opportunity to receive training on
your dog's specific behavioral issues.
- You and your dog will have the opportunity to take the AKC CGC test at La
Cumbre Mall and upon passing you will receive an AKC CGC certificate.
- After passing this class, you will be prepared to take the test for Therapy
Dog Certification ($10) by a Therapy Dog program so you and your dog can visit nursing homes, schools and hospitals.
2. Santa Barbara Pet Therapy Consultation and Test-Run One-hour session: $30.00
- You receive an overview on how to make your dog a Pet Therapy Dog
- You and your dog have the opportunity to perform a test-run of the test
given for Therapy Dog Certification or the Canine Good Citizen Test at La Cumbre Mall. This test will help you to determine what skills your dog does or does not need to learn in order to pass the Therapy Dog Certification.
3. Pet Therapy "On-Point" Behavioral Training $40.00/hour or $115.00 for 3 sessions
- Receive on-site training for any part of the skills or aptitude tests needed to
help you pass the Pet Therapy Test

Payment Policy
All services must be paid, by cash or check, in total before or on the first day that they are provided. The
total for multiple-day sessions must be paid before or on the first day that the training sessions begin.
There are no refunds if training sessions cannot be completed by the dog owner.

1. Bringing Your New Puppy Home 101 $40.00: One hour session
- You will learn the basic skills that you need to bring your new puppy into
your home including housebreaking, how to stop chewing, introductions to other pets, etc.
- You'll receive a Must Do To-Do List that will show you how to prevent your
puppy from developing the most common behavioral issues that arise in adolescent and adult dogs. This session will include breed-specific advice.
- You will receive written summaries of all the information.
2. The Polite Puppy Class $230.00 ($10 discount): 6 one-hour sessions
- This series includes 6 one-hour sessions in which your puppy (3 months to 1
year) will learn basic obedience commands in your home and on-the-walk while having fun. During six one-hour on-site personalized sessions, we teach your puppy how to SIT, LIE DOWN, STAY, COME WHEN CALLED, WALK LOOSE ON A LEASH AND LEAVE-IT.
- The techniques used in this series are designed to motivate and adapt to the
needs of YOUR puppy. For instance, if your puppy learns a specific command quickly, we use our extra time to teach your puppy another skill or address a specific behavioral issue so we can maximize the amount that you and your puppy learn.
- If needed, you will also learn the basic skills that you need to bring your new
puppy into your home including housebreaking, how to stop chewing, introductions to other pets, etc.
- You will receive training, advice and a Must Do To-Do List that will show
you how to prevent your puppy from having behavioral issues that most commonly arise in adolescent and adult dogs. This will include breed-specific advice.
- You will receive written summaries of each lesson and a free post-training
session upon request.
